Folio Society, Edward Gibbon The Decline And Fall Of The Roman Empire, Box Set

Up for sale is an excellent two box set consisting of eight books that comprise the complete historical classic The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon. Beautifully designed books as published by the Folio Society, London and housed in the original slipcase. This set was published in 2013.

The books are in Near Fine Condition as they have been read quite a feat! There is some cover sunning or age toning to the spines and front covers of some of the books, particularly on the second box set. The slipcase is in excellent condition. Not sure what it is but they have no smell of smoke at all and it actually gives the books a bit of a patina look. Overall, a really nice set at a good price!
