This wonderful box set of Agatha Christie's "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" and "Curtain" was published by HarperCollins in 2016. Included are the two volumes - each featuring unique cover art by Tom Adams, plus a small pamphlet of "A Letter to my Publisher", written by Agatha Christie where Poirot introduces himself to the publisher in the US - Dodd Mead. This was first printed in the 1936 American Omnibus "Hercule Poirot: Master Detective".
The novel "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" is unique because it includes an introduction by Dr. Curran and the original chapter 12 courtroom scene Christie wrote for the novel that was removed and rewritten before publication in 1920. The novel "Curtain" is also unique because it includes an introduction by Tom Adams where he states this cover is his "swan song" - as it was - the last original art he ever did for an Agatha Christie book. The paired box set is no exceptionally scarce with no copies for sale anywhere online that I'm aware of. It is in fine condition and will make a welcome addition to any collection.
