This is a beautiful example of the Corvette Engineering Limited Edition Boxed Set of leather-bound books produced in 2002 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Corvette by Bentley Publishers in a limited Edition of only 250! The set has a total of 739 pages and 390 pictures and illustrations. The limited edition books are Zora Arkus-Duntov The Legend Behind Corvette by Jerry Burton and Corvette From The Inside by Dave McLellen and each 8-½ x 9-¼ inch maroon leather bound hardcover book has a special Certificate of Authenticity with an autograph of the author. These two books contain 50 years of Corvette history from the perspective of the car's first two Chief Engineers, Zora Arkus-Duntov and Dave McLellan. Both heavily illustrated books are bound in red bonded leather with gold lettering on the spine. They come in the original blue leather slipcase and look like they have never been read. The books have no odor.
